EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — LIU women's hockey landed a plethora of players on the New England Women's Hockey Alliance All-Academic Team.
 
Two student-athletes, Tindra Holm and Megan Roe, were among 19 throughout the conference who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the 2021-22 academic year, earning the distinction of NEWHA Student-Athlete of the Year.
 
LIU's other honorees produced a 3.0 GPA or better for the academic year. The Sharks came in second in the conference with 27 honorees.
