BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Sophomore forward
Lotte Haagmans of the Long Island University field hockey team was named an NEC Prime Performer for the third time this season, the conference announced on Tuesday. Haagmans earned the recognition for her performance this past weekend in games versus Mercyhurst University and Lehigh University.
For the week, Haagmans scored four goals. On Friday versus Mercyhurst, she scored twice, helping the Sharks to a 5-0 victory over the Lakers, LIU's first win of the season. Haagmans scored two more times on Sunday at Lehigh.
The Sharks return to action this Friday, Oct. 3, at Stonehill College at 3 p.m. The game will be televised digitally on
NEC Front Row.
