The LIU cheerleading and dance teams as well as mascot Finley are returning home from the Sunshine State as national championships for a second straight year.

The combined Sharks team won the Open Spirit Program Game Day division at the UCA/UDA national championships on Friday at ESPN's Wide World of Sports.

LIU topped St. John's, the University of Puerto Rico and Northwest Missouri State in the finals.
