BALDWIN, N.Y. —As the holiday season approaches, the LIU dance team continues to exemplify the spirit of giving by extending a helping hand to those in need.
In a heartfelt gesture, the Sharks united in collecting and contributing non-perishable items, toiletries, and household goods to Bethany's House, an organization dedicated to supporting women and women with children facing homelessness, guiding them toward stability.
The team's dedication to community welfare was highlighted as
Caleigh Kellerman and
Alexa Saporita personally delivered these essential goods to the designated drop-off point in Baldwin. Their hands-on involvement underscores the dancers' commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those seeking support and stability during challenging times.
"Giving back and donating to Bethany's House means a lot to us as a team," Saporita and Kellerman said. "We feel that it is important to help those in our community in anyway we can."
The LIU dance team's compassionate endeavor reflects their collective dedication to fostering a positive impact within different communities around Long Island.
