BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Let's go!
The LIU women's water polo team has drawn Biola in the opening round of the National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship on Wednesday, May 10, at 4 p.m. ET.
The winner advances to face top-seeded Stanford two days later.
The nine-team NCAA tourney will be hosted by Pacific in Stockton, Calif.
The Sharks defeated Biola, 16-13, back on March 4 in Claremont, Calif., behind a seven-goal outburst from
Paola Dominguez-Castro.
LIU punched its first-ever NCAA Championship appearance by snapping Wagner's 100-game winning streak against MAAC opponents in the conference final on Sunday.
