BOSTON — The LIU track and field teams' indoor season concluded with some solid performances this past weekend at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships.
Rali Mihaylova and
Tess Duignan both set school records in the 800 meters.
Mihaylova ran 2:09.73 in the first heat, breaking the old school record of 2:09.96 set by Katrina Anderson in 2014.
Duignan then broke the school record again in heat No. 4 by running 2:08.99.
They both ran the next day in finals, with Duignan placing fifth and Mihaylova sixth.
Jonathan Gonzalez matched his PR in the mile at 4:11.98.
Elyas Ayyoub produced a PR in the mile at 4:10.00.
Jesse S. Wells ran a PR in the 500m at 1:06.60.
Shaunelle Wallace matched her PR in the 60m, running 7.75.
London Claxton and
Alessandra Pastor set PRs in the 500m, running 1:17.26 and 1:19.67, respectively.
