BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Walid Jarfani and Jayden Curry earned weekly award honors from the NEC, following impressive showings at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational last weekend.
 
Jarfani earned NEC Men's Track Athlete of the Week, following a third place finish in the Men's 1500m race. He came in with a time of 3:46.44.
 
Curry emerged as the NEC Rookie of the Week after also competing in the Men's 1500m race, finishing with a time of 3:56.74 --- good for 32nd place overall. The freshman also competed in the Men's High Jump, with his 1.96m mark helping him secure eighth place.

Additionally, Robby Levy, Brian Masai, and Phillip Baynes Jr. all earned NEC Prime Performer nods for the Sharks.
