PHILADELPHIA — The LIU women's water polo team split a pair of matches on Saturday, falling to Wagner 16-13 and defeating Villanova 11-9.

Paola Dominguez-Castro had a combined nine goals over the two games.

And Julia Zebak had 12 blocks against Wagner and 15 blocks against Villanova.

LIU (13-10, 4-1 MAAC) resumes play next weekend in Lexington, Va., against Siena, Mount St. Mary's and Iona.
