PROVIDENCE, R.I. — LIU women's water polo took on its third ranked team of the season in No. 25 Brown on Saturday.

Jessican scored at the 2:22 mark in the first, but the Sharks fell to the Bears, 16-6, and moved to 2-3.
 
Brown got out to a three-goal lead and Dean's score brought the contest to within three. The team was also 1-9 on power plays and won one sprint.
 
Paola Dominguez-Castro, Elena Camarena and Dean each finished with two goals. All six goals were unassisted.
 
LIU has a quick turnaround and will face Austin at 1:40 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
