DURHAM, N.H. – The LIU gymnastics team traveled to the University of New Hampshire for a dual meet against the Wildcats on Friday night, falling by a final of 195.400-194.675. Mara Titarsolej earned an event win for the Sharks with a 9.950 score on bars.
 
SHARK BITES

• On bars, it was another stellar showing from Titarsolej, the reigning EAGL Co-Specialist of the Week. Titarsolej anchored with a 9.950, which won her the event. Ilka Juk and Ella Castellanos each scored 9.700.
• Moving to vault, the Sharks saw three gymnasts score 9.750 in Alana Ricketts, Jah'Liyah Bedminster, and Juk. Ricketts finished second overall in the event.
• The floor exercise for the Sharks saw Katy Koopman score a 9.800 and Ella Barrington record a 9.750. They finished tied for third and tied for sixth, respectively. 
• On the beam, Cael Bixler led the way with a score of 9.775, which was good for fifth overall at the meet.
• Up next, the Sharks will host the University of North Carolina on Sunday, March 6 for their final home meet of the season.
