POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. —  The LIU women's fencing team reached 15 wins on the 2022-23 season after competing in the Vassar Invitational.
 
The Sharks went 3-4 on the afternoon, picking up team wins against Hunter, Vassar and Sacred Heart.
 
Against the Pioneers, the team earned eight wins in foil, the highest among each of their three victories.
 
The team returns to action on Nov. 20 at Penn Elite.
