WALTHAM, MASS.— The men's and women's fencing team wrapped up its trip to New England for the Brandeis Invitational. The men finished with a record of 0-5 while the women finished with a 1-5 record. While the team scores were not what they were looking for, a number of individuals had some very nice days.
Mohamed Elsayed and
Andrew Gefell both finished their days with seven victories while freshmen
Tai Flot and
Padick Loyola each recorded six.
Anna Szantay led the women's team with 11 victories followed by
Chejsa-Kaili Seck with 10.
Nevaeh Ulibarri and
Costanza Greggi each recorded seven.
The Sharks return to the floor at home when they host the Tri-State Shark Showcase on Jan. 28.
