MILLSBORO, Del. – The Long Island University bowling team wrapped up play at the UMES Hawk Classic Sunday. The Sharks played three best-four-of-seven Baker matches. LIU lost three Sunday, finishing the weekend with a 4-6 record, and in 16
th place in the standings.
Up first, the Sharks lost to conference foe Saint Francis U., 4-3 (235-215, 191-116, 171-203, 199-201, 164-213, 169-213, 169-155, 161-178). The second match of the day was another close loss, this time 4-3 at the hands of St. Francis Brooklyn (145-176, 182-193, 213-161, 212-194, 183-232, 212-202, 199-237). And to wrap up the day, the Sharks fell to Lincoln Memorial, 4-0 (140-178, 178-201, 158-207, 178-188).
