NEW CASTLE, Del. — Sarah Orensky led the way for the LIU women's bowling team as the Sharks resumed competition for the spring semester at the Northeast Classic.
Orensky, a senior from Freehold, N.J., averaged 212.6 in five traditional matches to produce the top average among NEC bowlers in the competition.
LIU defeated Adelphi in Baker play in the position round to finish 29th of 34 teams overall at the competition.
The Sharks return to action next weekend at the New Jersey Open in Stratford, N.J.
