BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – LIU women's bowling freshman Isabella Quaranta has been named to the 2024-25 NEC Women's Bowling All-Rookie Team, the conference announced on Thursday. 

"Bella was a walk-on freshman to the team this year, and I was extremely surprised by her talent. She works hard every practice and is always willing to try something new," LIU women's bowling head coach Melissa Kammerer said. "Bella soon became a very important part of the team when I noticed how consistent she was. I started putting her in as leadoff, which is an important position when we move lane to lane to see how each individual lane is playing from the last. I cannot wait to see what the years to come will bring."

Quaranta was ranked tenth in the conference in Leadoff Bowler - First Frame Strike Percentage with 21.2%, and was among conference leaders in several other categories this season.
