Chester, Pa. – LIU women's track & field freshman
Sonjay Baylor-Reeves recently set a new LIU record for Women's Shot Put at the 2026 Widener Final Qualifier.
Securing a first-place finish, Baylor-Reeves boasted a 15.22m mark in her final meet of the season. This places her 55th overall on the NCAA East list, and ranks her 101 overall in the NCAA.
This caps off a banner campaign for Baylor-Reeves, who, in addition to earning NEC Rookie of the Week honors four times this season, was more recently named Most Outstanding Rookie and Most Outstanding Field Performer (Throws) by the conference following the NEC Outdoor Championships.
