BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Sonjay Baylor-Reeves has been named NEC Women's Field Athlete and NEC Rookie of the Week, the second time she's earned both honors in the same week during the outdoor cycle.
 
The freshman competed in three events during the Rutgers Relays, securing three top-4 finishes. She placed third in Shot Put with a 14.88m mark, boasted a new personal best of 41.71m in discus throw, for fourth place, and finished fourth in Hammer Throw with a mark of 48.00m.
 
Baylor-Reeves and LIU will return to competition on April 18, taking part in the ECAC/IC4A Championships.
