BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Hasnae Goulamzi and Sonjay Baylor-Reeves set new school records while taking part in various competitions this past weekend for the LIU women's track & field team.
 
Competing at the Wake Forest Invitational, Goulamzi broke her own previous record in the Women's 5000m by five seconds, clocking in with a time of 16:30.83.
 
Baylor-Reeves set a new record in the Women's Hammer Throw at the ECAC/IC4A Championships with a mark of 50.67m. This helped the freshman secure a seventh place finish, while also finishing fourth in Shot Put (with a 14.31m mark) and seventh in Discus Throw at 43.00m.
