BROOKVILLE, N.Y.– The Long Island University women's gymnastics team (3-5, 1-1 EAGL) defeated George Washington University (4-6, 0-1 EAGL), 192.375 to 191.000, on Saturday night at the Pratt Recreation Center. The Sharks earned their first conference win of 2026 against the defending East Atlantic Gymnastics Leage (EAGL) champions and the conference's top-ranked team at the start of the season, while posting a team-best vault score of 48.700.
Freshman
Eden Stippick had a career-best vault score of 9.800 and tied her career-best floor score of 9.700. Sophomore Raphaëlle Perreault competed in all four events of the night, tying her career-best floor performance with a 9.825 score.

The Sharks return to action on Saturday, Feb. 7, when they travel to Towson, Maryland to take on Towson University.
