BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Long Island University will welcome the Northeast Conference's men's and women's cross country programs to its Post campus on Saturday, Oct. 31, for the 2026 NEC Cross Country Championships.

The championship meet brings conference competition to Brookville as student-athletes race for individual and team titles on LIU's home course.

The course winds through the campus athletic grounds near LIU Soccer Park, with grass starting and finishing areas and a 200-meter finish chute. Its loop configuration and open finishing field give spectators opportunities to follow the competition and cheer runners through the closing stretch.

LIU's men's and women's teams will compete on familiar ground as the Sharks welcome their conference opponents for championship Saturday.
