BROOKVILLE, N.Y.– The Long Island University women's gymnastics team (2-5, 0-1 EAGL) is set to host George Washington University (4-5, 0-0 EAGL) at the Pratt Recreation Center for its first home meet of the season on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. Single-meet tickets for all of LIU's home regular season meets are available for purchase, $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
On Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. the Sharks will host a quad meet (University of New Hampshire, University of Bridgeport, and Rhode Island College) and on Mar. 6 at 6 p.m. they will host Southern Connecticut State University.
LIU enters Saturday's matchup after returning from Bridgeport, Connecticut where the Sharks earned their highest team score of the season with 194.000 points, placing second out of the four teams that competed and narrowly falling short of the meet's best team score (194.050 points, Bridgeport).
This weekend's meet against George Washington will be available to watch online on NEC Front Row.
