PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The LIU gymnastics team traveled to Temple to take on the Owls, West Chester and William & Mary on Sunday afternoon.
The Sharks finished in third place with a score of 194.700 but LIU gymnasts finished in first place in their respective events.
Syd Morris finished in a tie for first in both the uneven parallel bars (9.850) and balance beam (9.90) while finishing first all-around with a score of 39.425.
Brisa Carraro also earned a 9.900 in the balance beam and tied Morris for first.
Lauren Miller finished in first in the vault with a 9.850.
The Sharks return on Friday when they travel to Gainsville Fla. to take on Florida, NC State and Iowa State.
