BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Syd Morris won the all-around and the beam and the LIU women's gymnastics team produced its highest score since its season-opening meet on Saturday night at Pratt Recreation Center.
The Sharks scored 194.175 while competing against a trio of Ivies.
Penn won with a score of 194.700, while Cornell was third at 192.400 and Brown was fourth at 192.150.
Teammates
Brisa Carraro and
Cael Bixler tied for first on the bars, each scoring 9.825.
Morris scored a 9.925 on the beam to win the event and finished third in the floor exercise with a 9.900.
Alana Ricketts finished second on the vault with a 9.825.
LIU returns to action Monday against New Hampshire, Southern Connecticut State and Yale in Uncasville, Conn.
