BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — Hasnae Goulamzi has won NEC Cross Country Women's Athlete of the Week following an impressive showing at the annual ECAC/IC4A Championships at Van Cortlandt Park.
 
The sophomore shined for the Sharks, finishing sixth among 258 ECAC runners with a time of 21:13.7. 
 
Goulamzi has previously garnered NEC Prime Performer honors twice before this season. In addition, she also finished in first place in the Women's cross country 5K at the LIU Fall Fest on Sept. 7.
 
The cross country teams' next competition is the NEC Championship on Nov. 1.
