BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The 2024-25 LIU men's and women's dual meet season begins Friday as the Sharks travel to New Rochelle, N.Y., to take on Iona.

The men's and women's teams have each faced the Gaels twice in program history. Last season, Iona outscored the Sharks 145.5-116.5, while the women's team emerged victorious against Iona, 150-112.

LIU head coach Jon Pepaj enters his second season with the blue and gold. Last season, the Sharks placed third in the NEC Tournament.

All five swimmers who won gold in the conference tournament return for the upcoming season.

The dual meet is set to begin Friday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in Hynes Center Pool.
