NEWARK, N.J. — LIU women's swimming enjoyed its impressive showing at Sacred Heart on Saturday.
 
The Sharks were victorious in the quad meet over Sacred Heart, 152-91, and Howard, 118.5-111.5.
 
The 400-yard medley relay team of Maaike Broersma, Venna Andersen, Ella Johnson and Allison Naylor finished a second ahead of the nine other teams to claim first.
 
Johnson earned first in the 200-yard butterfly, the first top individual finisher of the afternoon.
 
Andersen continues her dominant campaign with another first-place in the 100-yard freestyle.
 
Broersma finished atop all swimmers in the 200-yard breaststroke.
 
LIU returns to action at St. Francis Brooklyn on Nov. 18.
