LIU Announces Addition of Men’s Volleyball

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Long Island University President Dr. Kimberly R. Cline, in conjunction with LIU Director of Athletics, Dr. William E. Martinov Jr., today announced the addition of men's volleyball program to the LIU athletics department, with immediate recruitment and competition beginning in 2021-22

A national search for a head coach will begin immediately. Potential future student-athletes are encouraged to fill out this questionnaire to connect with our athletic staff regarding opportunities to become a Shark.

"We are thrilled to be adding men's volleyball to our Shark family," Martinov said. "Adding another men's sport brings an added dimension to our growing athletic department. We look forward to our continued pursuit of excellence both in the classroom and on the court!"
