BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Senior Kale Spencer of the Long Island University men's volleyball team earned NEC Co-Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday. 

Spencer led LIU in kills in both matches against Daemen University last weekend, posting 22 kills in Friday's match and 20 in Saturday's match against the Wildcats. The senior outside hitter/right-side hitter also totaled a .330 hitting percentage, 26 digs, and six service aces last weekend. 

In Friday night's match against Daemen, Spencer posted a career-best 19 digs in LIU's 3-1 win over the Wildcats, and had a season-high hitting percentage of .500. 

This is Spencer's fifth career NEC Player of the Week award. Additionally, Spencer received his fifth NEC Prime Performer award of the season.
