Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Victoria Erechtchenko defeated Doroshenko 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the match as the Long Island University women's tennis team defeated Temple, 4-1 on Saturday evening to complete the weekend sweep.
The Owls began the match earning the doubles point, but that was the only point they would earn on the day.

Bianca Compuesto fell to Boz/Tian, 2-6. Temple then clinched the doubles point when

Phoebe Watton were up 5-2 in their doubles match when the point was decided.
Despite earning the doubles point, the Sharks had complete control in singles, earning all four team singles points in straight sets to clinch the match. Kuzina earned the first team point when she defeated Boz 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Storkaas gave the Sharks the lead when she defeated Surihoua, 6-4, 6-1. Dancenco kept it going when she defeated Nozaki, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
Erechtchenko earned the fourth straight team point for the Sharks at No. 4 singles. Once the match was clinched, Compuesto did not finish, but was up, 6-1 on Tian.
Kate Jorjoliani was also up, 3-2 against Castelli when the match was clinched.
The Sharks are on the road again next Saturday, February 29 when they take on Bryant University in the first Northeast Conference dual match of the season.
