West Windsor, N.J. — LIU women's tennis has advanced to the next round of the NEC Tournament, following Thursday's opening 4-2 win over Le Moyne.
 
LIU was led by four different Sharks who picked up wins in singles, respectively. Lucia Garrigues set the tone with a 6-3, 6-3 victory, followed by Mia Tsoukalas (6-1, 6-2), Clara Tardivel (6-2, 6-2), and Jenna Svatos (6-2, 6-1).
 
The Sharks will match up with FDU in the next round, playing at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 18.
