Notes on the Sharks
The Sharks are looking to bounce back from a 13-20 loss at Monmouth on Wednesday.
Elise Person led the way with a season-high four goals against the Hawks. She also had three caused turnovers.
Jamie Alvino scored a hat trick against the Hawks, and also picked up two ground balls.
Rachel Masullo scored twice while
Bianca Santucci,
Paige Sherlock, and
Alyssa Mallery all scored for the Sharks last game.
Hailey Duchnowski made a season-high 14 saves in net. Sherlock leads the team with six goals.
Amanda Masullo and Person are tied for second with five goals this season. Person, Sherlock, and
Alyssa Boll all have three caused turnovers.
Rachel Masullo has a team-best 15 draw controls. Duchnowski has 37 saves on the season.
Scouting the Bobcats
The Quinnipiac Bobcats are searching for their first win of the season, after falling to Bryant and Wagner to start the year. Last time out, the Bobcats fell to Wagner 10-19. Cameron Parry, Amy Nicoloff, and Megan Szawlowski all scored twice against the Seahawks. Allie Kelsey started in goal for the Bobcats, and she finished the day with 15 saves. Szawlowski leads the team with four goals this year, while Desiree Kleberg, Maddie Deegan and Gabby Beckett all have scored three goals in the first two games of the season.
