BROOKVILLE, N.Y. -- Keith Schlosser has been named Long Island University's new Director of Athletic Communications, Elliott Charles, Director of Athletics announced on Friday.
 
"Keith has provided steady communications support for LIU Athletics and will continue to build on our efforts to highlight our student-athletes, coaches, and sport programs. Looking forward to his continued collaboration as an athletics communications professional and part of our LIU Athletics leadership team," Charles said.
 
Schlosser has been promoted after having served as LIU's Assistant Director of Athletic Communications since September of 2024.
 
Schlosser owns over a decade of experience in sports, communications, and digital media.
 
Previously, he worked at the National Basketball Association, helping spearhead the league's social media content and editorial calendars. Prior to his tenure at the NBA, Schlosser was SB Nation's Managing Editor for NBA G League coverage and covered the New York Knicks for SportsNet New York. He has also written for outlets such as The New York Times, SLAM, and Bleacher Report.

Schlosser earned his B.A. from Empire State University.
