Northport, N.Y.- The LIU Equestrian team is 2025-26 Region 4 champions, earning them a trip to the IHSA Zone 2 Finals on Saturday, April 4th.

Sophomore Madison Frankel was named the Cacchione Cup rider for Region 4, securing her an individual spot at Zones.

LIU had four additional riders qualify for individual spots at Zones as well.

Senior Kathryn Gargiulo in intermediate flat.

Junior Alyssa Baychuk in open flat.

Junior Saige Hinch in novice.

Sophomore Janina "Nina" Dubickii in limit flat.

The LIU Equestrian team will be competing next at the IHSA Zone 2 Finals on Saturday, April 4th at 9 a.m.
