BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The LIU equestrian team competed in its second show of the spring season at the Pratt Institute on Sunday and maintained its dominance as the high point team.
Sam Koeppel and Paige Perlow clinched second place, with
Paige Mather securing third in open fences to kick off the day.
Peyton Lafrenz and Bianca Tornecrantz captured second and third place, respectively, in intermediate fences for LIU.
In limit fences, Addy Docherty claimed victory, with
Arwen Talbot and
Rebecca Kats placing second, followed by
Helen Chimbos and
Ally Perticone.
The second half of the day commenced with Peyton Lafrenz securing first place in open flat, while Alyssa Baychuck claimed second, and
Sam Koeppel and
Anna Perlow took fourth.
In intermediate flat,
Julianna Tag emerged victorious, with Bianca Tornecrantz in second.
Helen Chimbos and
Ally Perticone secured the win in limit flat, with
Rebecca Kats placing fourth.
In novice,
Saige Hinch and
Emily Mulhern secured wins for LIU.
Brooke Greenstein achieved fifth place in pre-novice.
Lastly, in introductory,
Alyssa Napoli and
Abigail Zwilling secured second place.
The Sharks will conclude their final regular season show this Sunday in Selden, N.Y.
