Bridgewater, N.J. – Brian Masai and Jayden Curry have earned weekly awards from the NEC after performing well at the Gotham Cup and Wagner Invitational.
 
Masai won the NEC's Co-Track Athlete of the Week award after emerging as the top finisher in the Men's 800 meter run at the Gotham Cup, coming in first with a time of 1:53.15  
 
Curry was a top-three finisher in three events this past weekend. The NEC's newest Rookie of the Week award winner came in second place in both the 500 meter dash at the Wagner Invitational (with a time of 1:04.69) and the 800 meter run (a 1:54.08 time) at the Gotham Cup. He also finished in third place at Wagner in the High Jump with a mark of 1.92m.
