BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — LIU women's rugby's Kori Fields was selected to represent Team USA at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games on Aug. 16-17 in Asunción, Paraguay.

Fields was part of a roster finalized by the USA Rugby PanAm Games selection committee, with Team USA head coach Irene Gardner adding "these athletes demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their own development over the past year in their college or club programs."
 
Competing at the first ever Junior Pan American Games, Fields made an immediate impact in Team USA's opening day one 48-0 win over hosts Paraguay, scoring two of the team's eight total tries in the victory. She also went on to score once more as part of Team USA's 39-0 win over Mexico to advance to the semifinals.
 
Fields and LIU will open their season on Saturday, Aug. 30, hosting Princeton.
