West Haven, Conn.. -- LIU women's rugby had a strong team win, defeating New Haven 98-7 on Friday night. 

The Sharks were led by RJ Scott, who scored four tries. Kori Fields had another strong game with three tries of her own. Sayler Russell, Molly McPherson, and Deja Peary all scored two tries of their own as well. In addition to Molly's two tries, she had nine successful conversions. 

LIU will return to play on Saturday, October 11th, at home against Brown at 12 p.m.
