BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The Long Island University football team has announced its promotional dates for the upcoming 2025 football season. All five home games at Shark Stadium will feature a unique game theme, celebrating the community and university while offering a fan-friendly environment.
The home slate opens on Sept. 13 versus Sacred Heart University and will feature LIU's annual homecoming festivities. After four weeks away from home, the Sharks return on Oct. 18 to meet Robert Morris University on Nassau County Day, as LIU football honors and celebrates the local community.
One week later (Oct. 25) versus New Haven University is Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Fans are encouraged to join LIU players and staff and wear pink in support of the cause.
Nov. 8 versus Duquesne University is Military Appreciation and First Responders' Day. The regular season finale on Nov. 22 versus Wagner College is Senior Day, as LIU football honors the outgoing senior class for their contributions to the program and the university.
Season tickets are $50 for adults, $40 for children 12 and under, and $40 for active and retired military personnel. Season tickets can be purchased here. Individual game tickets will be available for purchase at a later date.
The Sharks open the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the University of Florida in the first all-time meeting between an NEC program and SEC program in football. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. LIU's full schedule for the upcoming season is available here.
