BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – For the second consecutive week, LIU redshirt freshman goaltender Brayden Wilcken has been named the NEC Rookie of the Week.

Wilcken stopped 15 shots and scooped up three ground balls during the Sharks' thrilling 13-12 win over Siena on Feb. 22.

The Mount Sinai, N.Y., native improved to 3-0 on the season, helping lift LIU to its third consecutive win.

The Sharks return to Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday at 2 p.m. to face Bellarmine.
