John Arceri at the Wrangle Mania, hosted by Journeyman Wrestling. The Sharks faced off against Duke University, securing a dominant 37-8 victory, marking Coach Arceri's first win at the helm.
The match began with 125-pounder
Robbie Sagaris, who earned an 11-0 Major Decision over Duke's Ethan Grimminger.
Devin Matthews followed with a decisive Tech Fall at 14-0 against Noah Kotchman at 133 pounds. At 141 pounds,
Drew Witham continued the momentum with another Tech Fall, defeating Sean Odonnell.
Brayden Roberts then delivered the Sharks' first pin of the season, taking down Nick Tattini at 157 pounds.
Anthony D'Alesio added a 21-6 victory over Logan Richey at 184 pounds. Finally,
Gavin Claro capped off the dominant showing with a hard-fought 7-5 decision over Vincent Lee at 197 pounds. This victory set a strong tone for Arceri's tenure and for the Sharks' season ahead.
