UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The LIU women's gymnastics team finished third of four teams at the Penn State Quad Meet on Friday night.

The Sharks produced a score of 194.150.

Host Penn State finished first with a score of 196.000, followed by Penn with 194.900. Southern Connecticut was fourth with a score of 187.575.

Mara Titarsolej led the Sharks on the uneven bars at 9.900. She matched Penn State's Cassidy Rushlow for the top score in the event at the meet.

Katy Koopman had the team's top vault score at 9.725.

Ilka Juk had a team-best 9.875 on the balance beam.

Syd Morris was the top LIU finisher on the floor at 9.800.

The Sharks return to action next Friday in Philadelphia against Cornell, Bridgeport and host Temple.
