BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The East Atlantic Gymnastics League announced its first and second all-EAGL teams ahead of the EAGL Championship this Saturday, and
Mara Titarsolej and
Ilka Juk earned first and second team honors, respectively, per the official
league release.
Titarsolej was placed on the first team all-EAGL team for uneven bars after her record-breaking regular season in 2022. Titarsolej finished with the highest NQS among all EAGL competitors at 9.930. On March 6 against North Carolina, Titarsolej recorded the first perfect 10 in LIU history.
Juk earned a place on the all-EAGL second team for beam following a successful regular season for the Sharks. Juk finished with the seventh best NQS (9.835) among those selected. She also earned a 9.925 on beam to set her career high when LIU traveled to Brown on February 20.
The Sharks will compete in the EAGL Championship this Saturday, March 19 at 12:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
