STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In a fast turnaround, LIU women's track and field competed a day after opening its season, this time hosted by St. John's.
Shaunelle Wallace earned her first top-10 finish of 2022-23 by placing ninth (41.55) in the 300m dash.
London Claxton climbed up the leaderboard on each of her three splits in the 1000m run, finishing fifth (3:07.43).
Margaret McKeever finished seconds behind in eighth (3:11.11).
In her first weekend of collegiate meets, Emily Mulhern raced in the 200m dash and finished sixth (26.18).
Faith Shaw and
Sade Panton finished inside the top-10 once again in the shot put. The duo also placed high in the weighted throw.
LIU returns to action on Friday at Wagner.
