MADISON, N.J. — LIU women's fencing remains perfect after two tournaments.
The Sharks swept the field of Lafayette, Stevens, Yeshiva, Florida, Pitt, Drew and Denison at the Drew Rangers Fall Invitational on Sunday, improving to 12-0 on the season.
The 12 consecutive wins mark the best start in the program's four-year history.
The highlight of the afternoon was Anna Szantay,
Khrystyna Sarkisian and Neveah Ulibarri winning 20 of 21 bouts to lead the team.
LIU is back in action on Nov. 13 at the Vassar Invitational.
