BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The LIU women's bowling team got its first exposure against Northeast Conference foes on Saturday and Sunday.
Overall, the Sharks went 3-4 against a field of Duquesne, St. Francis Brooklyn, FDU, Merrimack, Sacred Heart, Wagner and Saint Francis.
LIU was able to win its last two matches against the Seahawks and Red Flash on Sunday afternoon after finishing 1-3 on Saturday.
The team placed fifth out of the eight teams in attendance. Their highest scoring output came in the second baker match against St. Francis Brooklyn.
The Sharks return to action at the UMES Hawks Classic Invitational on Nov. 18.
