STRAFORD, N.J. – In a snow-altered final day at the Northeast Invitational, the LIU bowling team went 2-2 against opponents in baker action.
The Sharks opened up the day with a loss to Duquesne, 979-831 (146-175, 201-217, 177-210, 144-165, 163-212). They followed that up with back-to-back wins over NEC opponents, beating Saint Francis U, 878-817 (185-136, 184-152, 135-159, 184-169, 192-201) and Sacred Heart, 901-896 (173-188, 221-170, 188-146, 170-224, 149-168).
The final match of the day was a loss to Sacred Heart, 1070-931 (189-238, 198-247, 159-181, 192-227, 193-177).
Up next, the Sharks will head north to take part in the Pioneer One Day, hosted by Sacred Heart, Saturday February 13.
