STRATFORD, N.J. - The LIU bowling team went 1-3 on the second day of action at the Northeast Invitational, and currently sit in seventh place heading into the final day of action at 30 Strikes. Saturday's matches were all tradtional format, heading into Sunday's baker bracket.
In the first match of the day, the Sharks fell to North Carolina A&T, 976-818. Senior
Kellie Frain bowled the high for LIU, with a 203. The Sharks then dropped a match to Monmouth, 972-925, and bowled an 897 against the bye.
The lone win of the day came against Caldwell, 932-842, where LIU was led by a 213 from sophomore
Brittany Lucci. And the Sharks capped the day falling to Delaware State, 942-874.
Up next, the Sharks take part in the final day of the Northeast Invitational, Sunday, February 7. LIU will open against Bloomfield in the brakcet.
