MOUNT JOY, Pa. – The LIU bowling team dropped three matches to Duquesne Saturday at the first Northeast Conference meet of the season. With the three losses, LIU is now 1-5 in the standings, good for sixth place of eight teams.
In the first traditional match of the day, Duquesne won, 911-837. Freshman
Sarah Orensky led LIU with a 205.
In the five game baker match with the Dukes, LIU fell, 979-860 (197-205, 185-178, 166-187, 161-200, 151-209). And in the best of seven baker match, Duquesne won, 4-2 (143-193, 148-183, 178-229, 245-177, 233-184, 206-213)
