NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - The LIU bowling team went 2-1 on the final day of NEC Tournament #1, finishing the weekend 5-2 in NEC action and sitting in third place in the league standings.

The Sharks opened the day with a big shutout, beating #11 Duquesne, 4-0 (204-201, 213-200, 213-181, 206-185).

LIU then lost to #13 Mount St. Mary's, 4-2 (147-189, 110-225, 221-201, 182-157, 196-199, 188-201).

LIU capped the day with a 4-1 win over St. Francis Brooklyn, 174-184, 207-143, 204-161, 170-157, 204-122).
