HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The #25 Long Island University bowling team competed in the final day of the Hawk Flight Invite on Sunday afternoon. The Sharks finished the tournament in sixth place after posting a weekend record of 5-8.
 
The day began with a traditional match against Felcian University. LIU defeated the Golden Falcons 950-916. Francesca Rosci bowled a 213.
 
The next two matches were bakers. First, the Sharks fought back against St. Francis Brooklyn, beating the Terriers 4-3. The day ended with a 4-1 loss to host Monmouth.
 
Up next, LIU heads to Smyrna, Tenn. For the Columbia 300 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt on Friday, March 6.
